About the Course
Teen's yoga classes are dynamic and engaging flows custom tailored to each teen's individual needs by a certified teacher. Yoga class is a safe environment for students to learn and practice yoga tools that will help them learn to navigate their daily lives.
Teen Yoga instruction is sensitive to daily challenges, stresses and/or traumas that teens may have to deal with.
A yoga practice helps teens get in touch with their changing bodies and minds as they transition from childhood to adulthood.
Yoga offers teens an opportunity to understand their feelings and emotions within their bodies and minds and learn healthy skills and tools to manage themselves in all aspects of their lives.
Teens will be taught mindfulness practices, as well as, physical, cognitive and social emotional skills that they can take with them and use both on the mat and off the mat.
Open for ages 12-18.
Christina is a Certified Children and Teen's Yoga Instructor (RCYT) through Yoga Alliance.
