About the Course

This is a wonderful combination of yoga that begins with a strong Vinyasa flow for the first half of the class followed by a slower and restorative yin on the second half to restore and relax into yourself.  


Vinyasa flow is an energic flow that will help you connect with your body and get prāna (energy) moving, while Yin Yoga is a slower, more meditative practice that is designed to help you turn inward and create an awareness of your mind and the physical sensations in your body.


This class is suitable for all levels of students and is a perfect complement of both dynamic muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat and the lengthening and contracting of muscle and yin yoga that will target your connective tissue while calming and relaxing you.


Props for the second half of class may include:  blankets, towels, straps, bolster, blocks and eye pillows.


This is a general membership class.
