Aerial Yoga Instructor
When Nichoel discovered aerial yoga and aerial arts, it was the first time she felt like she belonged and that she had something very special and unique to share with the world. She grew up as a dancer and cheerleader but she was never as passionate about any of it until aerial came along. She believes that through her spiritual practice, she was guided to find the art because she was meant for it. Movement and meditation has always been a part of her life, however, she naturally understood the movement with aerial arts and utilizes her mindfulness practice within that. She believes that all movement is a practice and to master it, there must be mindfulness within the practice and a desire to progress in a way that allows your mind, body and soul to work together as one.
She has been teaching aerial yoga and other aerial arts since 2011 and her specialty is creative movement, choreography and performance. She has written her own curriculums for aerial arts as well as her own teacher training. She believes that yoga supports you in smoothing out your movement through breath, feeling comfortable and grounded in your body and finding presence in the repetition of practice. Bringing those elements into aerial yoga gives her the opportunity to blend the two arts together to create a totally new experience of bringing the ground into the air.
Nichoel enjoys living in the mountains surrounded by nature, spending her time reading, walking through the woods, creating videos for YouTube and sitting the by fire journaling & snuggling with her cats. She also performs often, utilizes aerial arts for creative expression and loves supporting others in becoming their best selves through aerial arts, tarot readings & other healing modalities.
Nichoel's personal practice includes various movement modalities, daily meditation and somatic healing.
